Focusing on a staple of historic river city architecture, the wrought iron detail work of the Entresol Building makes this style a flagship in design for this development. Each entresol building offers four luxury flats each with expansive front and rear covered galleries. With views and access to the most unique of common spaces, the outdoor living space of this unit will definitely be a treasure to it's residents. The most unique of all the River Road designs, each unit offers a very open floor plan with living, dining and kitchen all accessible from the entry. Brick accents will be featured throughout these units, often begging the question of history, loft living or just simply the new benchmark for Starkville. As featured throughout River Road, the custom kitchen will offer a luxurious design with solid surface countertops, stainless steel appliances and a large island with additional storage.

Historically, the camelback design is a shotgun single or double with one story in the front and two stories in the back. It is believed by many that the camelback is a direct result of the forward progress of the Creole Cottage Design. Beginning in the 1860's, it was not all that uncommon for owners to relocate their two-story outbuildings from the rear of the property to attach it to the back of the cottage, providing additional living space. Each camelback building consists of two separate units. A generous front porch is separated by a custom Cypress Shutter to offer privacy among neighbors. Walking through the entry French Doors, attention is immediately drawn to the exposed beams of the living room showcasing the height of the ceilings. The custom kitchens offer ample cabinetry, solid surface counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The private courtyards offer outdoor living space to complete the luxury of this design. Several upgrade options are available on both the two and three bedroom camelback designs.

Traditionally, Creole Outbuildings formed the rear or side wall of a private courtyard. It is only fitting that these four triplex buildings are located on the perimeter of Belle Grove, framing the development. A gable roof projects to cover upper level galleries supported by custom balustrades, providing a private balcony to each of the unit's two bedrooms. The laundry room is centrally located on the second floor, providing the most convenient access and privacy for the two bedrooms. The first floor offers an open floor plan, replicating the original shotgun style, first seen in the 1830's. All rooms are arranged directly behind one another in a straight line, front to back. From the beautiful entry through the solid wood French doors, you are welcomed through the Great Room, the Dining Area and the Kitchen to the rear patio. With an abundance of closet space and an open layout, the Creole Outbuilding is the most efficient of the River Road designs.
